Nanaji and I always argued about eating "non-veg."
I must’ve been around 7–10 years old and fully convinced that chicken and eggs made you "strong". He, of course, disagreed.
He then proceeded to cut out newspaper and magazine articles that supported his view and would keep them in the drawer by his bed. And whenever I'd visit next he’d pull them out, read them to me, and encourage me to take them home, “do my homework,” and come back to debate him.
I never stood a chance at changing his mind, but I loved that he treated it like a real argument.

Your debate story reminded me that he used to do that with me, with osteoporosis articles for wearing high heels. how he’d laugh knowing I have “arthritis” 😂😂😂
